ProductListo publishes practical writing about software: buyer's guides, comparisons, alternatives lists and explainers. If you build, sell or use software and have something useful to say, we'd like to hear from you.
Two ways to publish with us
Guest posts. Original articles written by practitioners: founders, engineers, marketers and operators who have real experience with the topic.
Sponsored content. Articles or features where a vendor pays for placement. Sponsored pieces are held to the same quality bar as everything else we publish and are always labeled as sponsored. Payment never buys a better rating, a ranking position or the removal of an honest drawback.
Topics we cover
- AI & ML tools, agents, RAG and the infrastructure around them
- Productivity, collaboration and project management software
- Developer tools and cloud infrastructure
- Marketing, SEO and growth tools
- Design tools and workflows
- Scheduling, CRM, communication and other business software
If your idea sits between categories, pitch it anyway. A sharp, specific angle beats a generic topic.
Our quality bar
- Original and useful. No recycled press releases, scraped text or articles that exist only to hold a link.
- Specific. Real examples, real numbers with a source, and clear recommendations for a defined reader.
- Honest. Product claims must be accurate, and where a tool has trade-offs we expect them to be mentioned.
- Relevant links. Links must help the reader. We may edit, remove or add links so the article reads naturally and points to useful resources, including related pages in our directory and guides.
- Editing. We edit for clarity, accuracy and fit, and we may decline a piece that doesn't meet the bar.
Disclosure
Sponsored content is clearly marked as sponsored, and links inside paid posts follow Google's guidance on paid links. Guest posts that include a paid element are disclosed in the same way.
How to pitch
Use the Contact link in the site footer and include:
- A working title and a two or three sentence summary of the angle.
- The reader you're writing for and why they'd care.
- Whether the piece is a guest post or sponsored content.
- Links to two or three examples of your previous writing, if you have them.
- The page you'd like to link to, and how it helps the reader.
Rates for sponsored content depend on the format and are shared by email. We don't publish a price list.
